Dispite the problems with the returned telephoto zoom lens I have been having some fun with my camera.
For a start, on Friday night while testing out the lens I did manage to get an image of Jupiter and the four galilean moons:
As you can see, each of the moons does show up as a different colour and there is a hint in the halo around Jupiter of some of its colours. Just think how much better such a shot might be when I get a telephoto lens which can actually focus!
This afternoon I also took advantage of the lovely weather and went for a walk along the footpaths over the fields nearby. There wasn’t much which was particularly photogenic but I did get a couple of reasonable shots:

Do you have a telescope? should do a better mount job with a good telescope mount… ๐ though that might be asking for too much ๐
Nope, I’ve not got a telescope, this was merely a (cheap and defective) 300mm telephoto lens.
