New lens, sunshine, cold weather in Oxford

This morning, having seen the sun peeping through the breaks in the cloud, I decided to take my new lens for a little walk around Oxford…

I started by parking outside the department and walking down to Gloucester Green, crossed the road and walked down a little alleyway I’d not seen before

which took me right along the back of the city to the Council offices and the castle.

I then wended my way through some back streets

to Christchurch College and Christchurch meadow.

Walking along the river I saw various water fowl, rowers and people enjoying the sunshine.

I followed the path around the meadow where the spring flowers were just starting to come into bloom.

And finished up at the eastern end.

It was a pleasant little walk.

If you want to see all the pictures, you can find them in my gallery.
