Well, I have now ordered my new toy. It wasn’t without hassle, however.

I cycled in this morning and went directly to the two orange Shops in Oxford. The first, in the Westgate (which turns out to be the business shop), told me that they were expecting delivery of the new PDA/phones on Friday. The second, on Cornmarket, initially told me that they wouldn’t be available until mid-November at the earliest and was very surporised when I told him that Orange were, in fact, selling them on their web site.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, when I got into work I brought up the Orange web site, found the upgrade phone number, phoned them up and ordered the new toy. It should be here tomorrow.
