Why is it that the new regulations for hand baggage seem to be designed to stop digital photographers?
Every photo+laptop bag is one or two centimetres larger in one dimention or another than their regulation maximum size (including handles and pockets). I’m sure that they’re doing this deliberately.
Cunning plan…
I’m hatching a cunning plan…
I have a slightly padded Sainsbury’s cool bag I got free a few weeks ago which is *JUST* within the maximum size the Government has determined and it will fold up pretty small. So…
For the flight from Heathrow to Oslo I will put all my expensive equipment in that and when the security personnel ask me to remove all technological items from the bag and put them on a tray I will basically empty it all out of the bag, scrunch it up and give it to him. I will send my practically empty Crumpler in the checked-in baggage.
Once I’m in Oslo and am within a saner regime I’ll repack all the technological equipment into the Crumpler and take that on board for the flight on-ward to Tromso.
Cunning, eh? Cunning as a fox who’s gone to Foxford University.
Re: Cunning plan…
Hee.
Yeah that is a cunning plan.
