However, soon enough the cloud rolled in and by mid-afternoon the drizzle had started.<\/p>\n<p>As for events of the day, other than a trip out to Truro, which was curtailed by the weather, I didn&#8217;t do a great deal. Due to the lack of anything else to do I continued re-playing Half-Life. (Yes, I did get beyond &#8220;Blast Pit&#8221; but I&#8217;m not looking forward to the part where you have to jump over\/under trip-wire bombs which is not too far in the future.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The weather was quite devious, having started sunny and inviting.
