I had to put my bike in for service today. It needed to have the gear cable changed (and as it turned out) the cable slieves as well, a mighty \u00a311.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I think it&#8217;s about time that I replaced it as it&#8217;s now 5 years old which means that it&#8217;s done about 11 thousand miles and it&#8217;s getting a bit tired.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been looking around and the closest I can get to my ideal bike would be the following:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.giant-bicycles.com\/uk\/030.000.000\/030.000.000.asp?model=10206\">Giant Motion 7 Gts<\/a> Bike.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shimano-europe.com\/cycling\/catalogue\/content_prodx.phtml?pid=11538&#038;psid=1\">Shimano FS-C810<\/a> front forks.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shimano-europe.com\/cycling\/catalogue\/content_prodx.phtml?pid=11455&#038;psid=11453\">Shimano SG-8R25<\/a> 8 gear internal geared hub.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shimano-europe.com\/cycling\/catalogue\/content_prodx.phtml?pid=11456&#038;psid=11453\">Shimano ST-8S20<\/a> gear change and brake lever set.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I wonder how much that&#8217;ll cost?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hmm..
